About the Company

Our partner HUDDIG CS is currently renovating and modifying the tracked vehicles 206 and 208 for the Armed Forces. The deliveries of this will be an important part of ensuring the Armed Forces' capability and mobility for many years to come. The Armed Forces' tracked vehicles 206 and 208 were acquired in the late 1970s and are now in need of renovation to extend the vehicles' lifespan and improve their performance. The project aims to extend the lifespan by 15 years. The work is carried out at Flygstaden in Söderhamn in HUDDIG CS's new facilities.

Your Responsibilities

Pre-assembly of engine and transmission, replacement of engine and transmission.
Perform repairs on the vehicles according to the manufacturer's specifications and industry standards.
Conduct safety checks and tests to ensure the functionality and performance of the vehicles.
Document work orders and repairs meticulously to ensure complete transparency and traceability, as well as inventory management.

Your Background/Attributes

Education in automotive mechanics or equivalent experience is advantageous, technical interest, good reading comprehension, and a good understanding of the Swedish language. Also, a good understanding of how to follow written instructions/drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in work. Be a good team player with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a group. Punctual, with a high work ethic, and a desire to develop in the given field.
